Principals Report
Welcome Students
This week we welcome students in Years 7-10 back to school. We wish to congratulate all students on their motivation, behaviour and commitment to learning. It’s wonderful to see so many students wearing full school uniform. Each fortnight we will continue to publish photos of students engaged in learning in their classes.
Term 2
In Term 2 teachers have been busy collating students learning and assessing students’ knowledge, understandings and skills. Adjustments have been made to the 2020 mid-year reporting requirements, due to the impact of COVID-19. Before the end of July teachers will be contacting parents/guardians to communicate the students’ progress in learning and provide information on how the student has settled back into school. Further information will be provided before the end of term.
Secondhand Uniform
The school is in need of secondhand uniforms. If you have donations they will be greatly appreciated and can be left at the general office.
School Values
Our school values are Respect, Growth, Aspiration and Courage. Each term our school will be focusing on one of the values and developing an understanding of what this value reflects in our learning and work together. In sector assemblies’ students are recognised for displaying the school values.
The school values are -
Aspiration – creating a culture of high expectations and achievement
Respect – respecting ourselves, others, our past and our environment
Courage – accepting challenges and embracing opportunities
Growth – improving by always learning and finding better ways to do things
